Product Description
Enough Laser Teslin® paper (SPID1000) to make 200 credit card size IDs. Laser Teslin® Paper is designed for use with laser printers, offset presses, and photocopy/xerox machines. It is chemically treated to allow toner to adhere more strongly, as well as heat treated to reduce the amount which the paper shrinks (which reduces the chance of paper jams).
Please note: Other companies sell Teslin® TS and SP grades as "Laser Teslin®". We do not recommend either of these grades for use with Laser/photocopy/xerox machines. According to PPG (the manufacturer of Teslin®):
"Teslin® TS substrate works best in applications that involve preprinted, fixed graphics before the material is laser printed with variable information."
Only "Teslin® SPID substrate is intended for applications where the entire printing process will be done by xerographic processes. It has a faster and more reliable throughput compared to other synthetics."
Although both TS and SP grades of Teslin® substrate may work, neither is the recommended grade of Teslin® for best results and compatibility with laser printers, offset presses, and photocopy/xerox machines.
Laser Teslin® is not meant to be used in any kind of Inkjet printers.
